MatthewD & Random Tuesday

The Busiest Band in the Mid-West

You don't need an old record to recapture the spirit of great music. You can hear the reverberations of the past, and the sound of the future in one group... Matthew D and Random Tuesday. Breaking down the barriers of the blues while churning up a style and sound of their own. They create a solid mixture of rocking original blues music along with their innovative stamp on cover material. MD&RT is a versatile show band that's been lighting up the mid-west since May of 2003.

In 2005 they began touring the world with Armed Forces Entertainment, bringing the best of American music to much deserving troops in stationed abroad in 14 different countries. This is a wonderful way to see the world, and an opportunity to give back to our Military. It's their sacrifice that makes it possible for them to play music and see the world in peace and security.

June of 2006, saw MD&RT releasing their all original debut album, Notes From The Edge. It received much radio airplay and critical success. The blue eyed soul, album had people waiting for more. After performing abroad for the military in 2008, the band began touring full time domestically for Ameristar and Isle of Capri Casino properties across America.

2010 brought the band back home to Kansas City, doing what they do best: playing the blues. On any given night you would find them in some smoke filled venue, laying down hard-driving grooves for appreciative audiences across the Mid-West.

The band consists of, the captivating front man Matthew D. on guitar and lead vocals, Eugene Smiley on 9 string bass and vocals, Adam Hagerman on drums, Jeff Jones keyboards and vocals. Rounded out by the fabulous KC horns, Pete Carroll/Trumpet and Gino Bueno/Sax
